A few things worth revisiting

As the year comes to a close, this is usually when advisors pause to reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and what they want to do differently in the year ahead.

From our perspective, one thing stays consistent: the advisors who feel most confident heading into a new year aren’t just the ones who know the rules – they’re the ones who understand how those rules actually show up on real tax returns and in real client conversations.

This quieter stretch of the year can be a good time to reinforce that foundation and reconnect the dots between tax knowledge and practical planning.

Over the years, we’ve focused our work on supporting advisors in a few specific ways. Through THE SUMMIT, we dig into real client situations and real tax returns, keeping the conversation grounded in the decisions you actually face in practice. Alongside that, we’ve built guides and reference materials meant to be used – tools that support return reviews, planning conversations, and ongoing confidence around tax topics, rather than information that sits untouched.

Individually, these things are helpful. Together, they’re meant to support a stronger understanding of how the pieces fit, so you can head into 2026 with more clarity, consistency, and confidence.

Our goal has never been to add more noise – it’s to help you use what you already know more effectively in the work you do with clients. As you look ahead to the new year, we hope this provides a clear perspective and a steady starting point for what’s next.

Happy tax planning, and here’s to an incredible 2026!

P.S. While it can’t be scientifically proven, we’re also convinced that having a laminated copy of the RTS desktop tax guide on your desk and conference room table is highly correlated with general awesomeness. 😉
