“Sue” appears to be retired and has capital loss carryforwards. With a relatively low amount of social security currently taxable, that will be an important consideration in making other recommendations. Currently in the 0% capital gains bracket and receiving a significant refund there are multiple opportunities to work with Sue on tax planning.
